Tips for Choosing a Cycle Trail
There’s a good reason why there are so many cyclists in North Devon all year round: we've got a route to suit every age and fitness level. In the summer it’s hard to find a coffee shop without a couple of road bikes parked outside, and in the winter you won’t find a bridleway without some mountain bike tracks left in the mud!
To choose the best cycle trail for you, be sure to:
- Consider the age and ability of everyone in your group.
- Check the terrain and elevation gain of the trail.
- Look for trails with interesting features, such as scenic views or historical landmarks.
- Pack plenty of water and snacks.
- Wear appropriate clothing and safety gear.
- Enjoy exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside on two wheels!
